Luxury vehicles are among the most common collateral assets Borro finances — and for good reason. High-value cars combine substantial asset value with global secondary market liquidity, making them straightforward to appraise and efficient to lend against. Whether you own a Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, or another exotic or ultra-luxury vehicle, Borro can typically fund a collateral loan within 24–48 hours of completing your appraisal.

How Luxury Car Loans Work at Borro

A luxury car loan at Borro is a collateral loan — not a title loan, not a sale, and not a traditional bank loan. You retain ownership of your vehicle throughout the loan term. Borro takes temporary possession of the vehicle for storage during the loan, and returns it to you in the same condition once the loan is repaid. There is no credit check, no income verification, and no impact on your credit score.

The loan amount is based on the current wholesale market value of your specific vehicle — adjusted for mileage, condition, specification, and service history. Borro’s automotive appraisers use live market data from dealer networks, auction results, and private sale databases to determine a fair and competitive loan-to-value ratio.

Vehicles Borro Accepts as Collateral

Borro accepts a wide range of luxury and exotic vehicles, with stronger LTV ratios for vehicles that combine high original MSRP with active secondary market demand:

  • Ultra-luxury sedans: Rolls-Royce Phantom and Ghost, Bentley Flying Spur and Mulsanne, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, BMW 7 Series M Sport
  • Grand tourers: Bentley Continental GT and GTC, Aston Martin DB and DBS series, Ferrari Roma, Maserati GranTurismo
  • Supercars: Ferrari (488, F8, 296, SF90, Roma, Portofino), Lamborghini (Huracán, Urus), McLaren (720S, 750S, GT), Porsche (911 Turbo S, Taycan Turbo)
  • Limited and collector editions: Ferrari limited series, Lamborghini special editions, final-edition combustion models from any major manufacturer
  • Classic and vintage: Pre-1990 exotic and ultra-luxury vehicles with documented provenance and active collector market demand

What Affects Your Loan Amount

Five factors determine the loan amount Borro can offer against a luxury vehicle: current wholesale market value for the specific model and year, mileage relative to comparable examples, physical condition of exterior, interior, and mechanical components, completeness of service documentation, and specification — certain configurations and option packages hold meaningfully stronger values than base examples.

For limited-edition and collector vehicles, Borro also considers appreciation potential and recent auction results, which can support higher loan-to-value ratios than standard depreciation guides would suggest.

The Borro Luxury Car Loan Process

The process is straightforward. You submit your vehicle information and photos through Borro’s intake process. Our appraisers review and provide a preliminary loan offer, typically within a few hours. If you accept, Borro arranges secure transport of the vehicle to our storage facility — we cover transport costs. Your loan is funded after the vehicle is received and the physical inspection is complete. At loan maturity, repay the principal plus interest and your vehicle is returned to you.

Loans are available with flexible terms. Borro works with each borrower to structure terms that fit their liquidity needs.
